
Miyeok-Guk (Korean Seaweed Soup)
A very comforting soup.
Ingredients
- 5 grams dehydrated seaweed
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 50 grams beef
- 3 cups water
- 1/2 to 1 tbsp soup soy sauce
- salt&pepper to taste
Instructions
- Rehydrate the seaweed in water.
- Cut into pieces once the seaweed has been rehydrated.
- In a pot, sauté the beef in sesame oil and garlic over medium heat.
- Add in the seaweed and mix.
- Once the beef is cooked, add in the water and the soup soy sauce.
- Boil over medium heat for one hour. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Serve and enjoy!
